Gabriel Vargas
Gabriel Vargas is a lively, energetic, young entrepreneur who accepts all of life’s experiences as a challenge, something to be jumped into with passion and excitement.
Born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia, which was recently named one of the 7 wonder cities of the world, Gabriel excelled in a variety of sports winning multiple awards and gold medals and ultimately earning a soccer scholarship to Richland Community College in Dallas, Texas.
While living in Dallas Gabriel also volunteered at Camp Summit helping children with disabilities; this was the beginning of what later became a deep desire to make a difference in people’s lives and to have a positive impact in the world.
During his three-year stay there he also unleashed a dormant adventurous spirit as he embarked on multiple road trips within Texas and across the nation including trips to Arkansas, Oklahoma, California, Florida, New York, Washington DC, and New Jersey.

The thrill of travelling and the excitement of exploring the world and different cultures lead him to study abroad at Università degli Studi di Firenze in Florence, Italy. There he continued his passion for soccer playing with Euro Calcio Firenze Team, and also his new love for adventure as he traveled within Italy and across Europe to Holland, Germany, Spain, and France. Putting into practice the techniques he learned during a 1-year photography course at Universidad Real de Bolivia, he captured a collection of breathtaking landscape pictures with an emphasis on shadows and reflections, which exhibit his independence and freedom of expression in everything he does.
Still hungry to explore the world he moved to Melbourne, Australia where he continued his studies at Victoria University and worked as a bar tender and supervisor of a 2 floor and 4-ambient club. Before returning to the US, he let his free-spirit soar by embarking on a final road trip through all the west coast, skydiving, and scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef. After getting the most from the exquisite Australian culture, Gabriel moved cross-continent to Miami, Florida to complete his Associates Degree in Business Administration with honors on the Dean’s List, and soon after his Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University.
A member of the Honors Society Golden Key, he achieved a double major in Business Management and International Business, and minor in Human Resources Management.
However, always preferring to be on the move rather than to be sitting around waiting for something to happen, he accepted the invitation to attend a grand convention in Atlanta, Georgia where he was presented with the opportunity to own his own financial services business.
Joining the Primerica crusade was a no-brainer as it fulfilled his desire to make a significant difference by teaching people how to drastically improve a pivotal aspect of their life- their financial health.
Gabriel proceeded to become fully licensed in the areas of insurance and investments and learned how to coach families and individuals to avoid common pitfalls and instead implement simple strategies that make a huge difference. Deciding to further expand his territory and be closer to loved ones, he recently moved to Rockville, Maryland to continue building his business with family.
Primerica has inspired a drive to further develop his leadership skills and personal development to better serve his clients and colleagues while also setting an example for others.
